WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO IMPROVE OUR LIVES AND THOSE OF CITIZENS THROUGHOUT THE STATE. The Georgia General Assembly makes decisions that affect us all. If we want to change the landscape and direction of Georgia, we cannot be limited to our individual districts -- we must look at the whole picture.
Would you like to know more about what issues and bills the Georgia General Assembly will be handling this year? Would you like the 2010 Elections to lead to positive change for the state? Would you like to meet some of the candidates and office holders in your area and around the state whose decisions are affecting your life? Do you want to meet and team up with others who care about changing things in GA and learn how to make it happen? Would you like the chance to tell candidates and office holders face to face in your area and around the state what issues are most important to you this year? Well now is your chance to do so!
Citizens and public servants are joining together for a monthly potluck in Lake Claire in order to meet and greet, educate each other, inform each other and activate each other to achieve positive, progressive change in Georgia.
Opportunities will be available to make donations of any legally allowed amounts to individual candidates (small and large amounts -- all make a difference). Sign up lists will be available for volunteering to help with campaigns and related efforts for change in Georgia.
IT IS OK TO COME, LISTEN AND ASK QUESTIONS EVEN IF YOU CANNOT DONATE OR VOLUNTEER.
The January Hosts of CHANGE GEORGIA NOW are Rep. Stephanie Stuckey Benfield, HD 84 Sheri Mann Stewart, Activist, TV Producer All the Latest ATL
